Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds and cancellations are handled for TrendTik subscription plans and credit packs.
1. How payments are processed
Payments for subscriptions and credit packs are processed by our payment provider, Dodo Payments, acting as Merchant of Record. You can review and purchase plans on the pricing page. This policy describes how refunds are handled for those payments.
2. Subscription plans
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the billing period you selected (monthly or yearly) until cancelled
- You can cancel anytime from your profile page; cancellation stops future renewals but does not retroactively refund the current billing period
- If you are charged for a renewal in error, or experience a duplicate charge, contact us within 14 days for a full refund of that charge
- New subscribers may request a refund within 7 days of their first payment if they have not substantially used paid-tier features (e.g. minimal video/comment analyses beyond the free quota)
3. Credit packs / top-ups
Credit packs are one-time purchases that add usage credits to your account for a specific feature (e.g. extra video or comment analyses). Because credits are consumed immediately on use:
- Unused credit packs may be refunded within 7 days of purchase
- Credit packs that have been partially or fully consumed are non-refundable
- Credits that expire per the terms shown at time of purchase are not refunded for non-use
4. Exceptions
We will issue a refund regardless of the windows above if:
- You were charged due to a billing error, duplicate transaction, or unauthorized charge
- A paid feature was unavailable or non-functional for an extended period due to an issue on our side
5. How to request a refund
Email hello@trendtik.com with your account email, the date of the charge, and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
6. Processing time
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or payment provider, refunds may take 5–10 business days to appear after approval.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
